Dia Dhaoibh! Táim thar n-ais in Éirinn fé láthair, agus is mó atháim ag foghlaim anso! Do dheineas taifead ar an chéad cheithre caibideal déag den Soisgéal do réir Mhaitiú, agus táim á gcur in eagar, agus beid siad go léir le fáil le cách ar mo shuíomh Idirlíne. Tá cuid díobh déanta cheana féin: féach ar http://www.corkirish.com/wordpress/audio-files-on-this-site#Maitiu Dear all, I am back in Ireland and learning lots. I managed to do a recording of the first 14 chapters of St Matthew's Gospel from the Irish translation done by Peadar Ua Laoghaire with the help of the main expert in Cork Irish, Dr Seán Ua Súilleabháin. I am editing the files and putting them on my website in MP3 format. Some of them are done already and can be downloaded from http://www.corkirish.com/wordpress/audio-files-on-this-site#Maitiu |

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." Bain sult as do thuras! Beadsa thar n-ais go luath leis. |

Firefox de ghnáth, ach bhain mé triail as Safari, IE, Flock, Opera agus Camino. Oibríonn an suíomh dom trí sheachfhreastalaí; b'fhéidir nach maith leis an suíomh mo sheoladh IP. |

Cionaoidh, there are no people or IP addresses being blocked on my site - you should be able to hear the file. If you can't access the link Aonghus provided, I would be happy to email you the files, or put them on Rapidshare for you. However, some bad news - after recording 14 chapters in 2 locations, I found out that the final 8 in a noisier location were not very good sound-wise, so I am afraid the 6 I have managed to clean up and post for Matthew 1-6 are the lot for now. Reading is a very strenuous and intensive thing and it is hard to align lots of free time with people to do it. Also I recorded around 15 full verb conjugations with native speaker of Coolea, Eoiní Mhaidc Ó Súilleabháin - and will do another 10 tomorrow. I have processed glanaim only so far - see http://www.corkirish.com/wordpress/verb-conjugation/glanaim . What do people think? Each tense has a link to audio. I requested the "glanaid siad" pronunciation specially- I don't this is widespread any more, but all other features are very natural (including the lack of lenition in ní glantar etc - which reflected the speaker's own preferences). |
