According to this source
http://www.libraryireland.com/AnglicisedSurnames/Milne-Milling.php

It would be Pól Mac Maoilein

But I'm not sure how definitive that is.

Milne is not an Irish surname, so normally your name would be:

Pól Milne (pronounced POLE)

I understand that the name Milne derives from an Anglo Saxon word associated with a mill

The Irish for miller is Muilleoir, and I have seen this name used; so Pól O Muilleoir perhaps?

I've just checked this site:

www.irishidentity.com

The surname 'Milne' is not listed, but the surname 'Millin' is listed as 'Ó Maoilín'.

It could be possible that 'Milne' may be a variant of 'Millin' or vice versa.

But,as already stated in the above posts, the Irish for Paul is 'Pól'.

This name has a lot of variants! It looks like it is Scottish/Ulster of English origin. Here are some variants:

Mac Maoláin
Ó Maoláin
Ó Maoileáin
Ó Mealláin

I ndiaidh a chéile a thógtar na caisleáin.
