I am want to learn to speak irish ,could anyone tell me what would be the best way to do this keeping in mind that I would have no time to go to a class as all my spare time is taken up by GAA and I work during the day
I think you will need some kind of class; there are some online. You will also need to listen to as much as you can. I suggest you listen to Radio na Gaeltachta as much as possible.
I would suggest since GAA is your spare time to find an Irish teacher who will teach you in the clubhouse say one night a week before training just an idea also maybe you could get a retired teacher who'd teach you at lunchtime one day a week!
Well, there's always Rosetta Stone if you have the money (time investment is about 20 minutes a day), but it sounds like you have access to real live speakers...they're the best resource there is.
Radio na gaelteachta tg4 Are excellent way's to get a taste of the language If you want I can try and teach you some of the basics Please Note I am not a teacher,But I am a fluent native speaker MISE LE MEAS REGARDS Brian
