Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me confirm a translation. We are about to get a nameplate in Irish made up for a house called "The Bridge House" in English, and are unsure if the translation should be "An Teach Droichead" or "Teach an Droichid", or neither! I think the phrase invokes the grammar of the genetive case so my guess is that the second one is correct?

Thanks

Graham

Teach an Droichid if it means "the house near the bridge" or something like that.

I ndiaidh a chéile a thógtar na caisleáin.
