What do people think of this new book, available from Litriocht (
http://www.litriocht.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=5910)? I have been looking for an oral workbook to serve as the basis for one-to-one lessons in Irish in the Gaeltacht next time I go, as I find being able to generate my own Irish the most difficult thing - particularly problematic as, unlike other languages I have learned, where you had to speak it if you were in the right country, you can go to the Gaeltacht and just speak English (albeit, foolishly wasting an opportunity by doing so).
This book has 15 units, all divided by subject. They are 15 oral topics, with texts and vocab and exercises, but structured in such a way that it would give you some subject to talk about in an oral lesson. The units are long enought that they could take 3 or 4 lessons to complete. I think this is the first oral workbook I have seen that could help people make the transition to oral fluency. It doesn't come with a CD.
