I suppose you hang out with them? When you do, introduce phrases and words which you already know. You know what I mean, the greetings, the common phrases. Then, perhaps, if you're inclined, set up a study group together. Or latch onto a speaker who is willing to lead you all, if possible. It seems like you know a bit based on your posts, so have at it, in my opinion. It probably would be the most fun for you all, and they'd learn some stuff to give them confidence if they wanted to tackle the harder stuff later.
Go find Muiris Ó Laoire on campus. See what he says. I know from the Speaking Irish video that he has good Irish from your area.
