Chonaic mé "Deimhniú Báis" an lá cheana agus bhí "Bás a Chláraíodh i gCeantar" scríofa ann.

Shíl mé nach séimhítear an saorbhriathar san aimsir chaite riamh!

An botún é sin?

Cibé scéal é... I would be interested to know whether any of the people on this great site have ever met each other?

An bhfuil aon aithne agaibh oraibh féin? Just an inquisitive question really... What are they up to normally? (Well, in fact, it was my non-Irish-loving cousin in Dublin who asked me the question. I think that he could be getting worried about the fact that internetting in Irish has become a cool pasttime which he is not a part of - and he would hate that! Can you recommend a few Irish blogs so I could show him how cool it is?)

Who has met whom and discovered that they are líofa or whatever, mar shampla?

Has anyone met Panu? Has he lived in the Gaeltacht?

Abigail, for example, is an American; why is she so perfect in Irish?

Mar shampla, mar shampla, mar shampla... :-)

Déarfainn gur botún a bhí ann. D'fhéadfadh éagsúlacht canúna bheith i gceist, ach ba chóir dá leithéid bheith caighdeánta. Tá an ceart agat faoina deir an Chaighdeáin, pé scéal é.

Tá aithne agam féin ar triúr nó ceathrar dár mballra. Castar ar a chéile sinn ar shráideanna Bhleá Cliath, ar mhórtheaglaim an Oireachtais nó ins na Gaeltachtaí beaga sealadacha a chuirimid ar bun ó am go chéile i Nua-Gheirsí nó in áiteachaí eile. Maith an comhluadar iad uilig dar liom, agus beag beann á thabhairt ag duine ar bith againn ar fuaimeanna is gramadach an duine eile, ach a bheith ag caint is ag plé is ag cur fíoraithne thríd an ríomh-aithne. Mar sin is fearr é.

Tá fáilte roimh chuile cheartú!

Yes, once for a cup of coffee after he came over to the protest to get Irish recognised as an official language in the EU. I don't know if he spent time in the Gaeltacht.

Abigail (whom I also met) is a talented mathematician and engineer - maybe that's why? (Tongue in cheek).

I also met Peter, when he was on his way back from Conamara to Russia.

I've exported my Google Reader feed for blogs in Irish:
