I have posted this on the Irish only side of the forum, but just in case, here it is,
Does anyone know what the word 'ádhphar' means?
Ár gcuidne den ádhphar?

An bhfuil a fhios ag aon duine cad is ciall leis an fhocal 'ádhphar'?
Ár gcuidne den ádhphar?

I think it is just a typo for "ábhar" issue, matter, topic, material etc In the older spelling it probably had a few silent consonants: "ádhbhar". I'm no scholar so watch the other side of the fence... for an authoritative ansmer. (? answer?)

I am with Dennis' viewpoint from the Gaeilge section for ádhphar = ábhar = adbar (DIL).

Bar is in the DIL under for, so that shows the spelling difference of ph / f / b.

I ndiaidh a chéile a thógtar na caisleáin.
