I'm looking for headings 'as Gaeilge' for the following ( or any other thesis related headings posters might know of):

Abstract
Introduction
Methodology
Results
Conclusion
Recommendations

May I take this opportunity to wish the Daltaí Board
all the very best for 2010.
I have to say that I have gained an immense amount of knowledge about the workings of the language these past few months since I became a member.
I'm a long way off the mark but I'm getting there, and the path is clearer now thanks to Daltai Boards.
Go n-eirí libh

Achomaire

Réamhrá

Módheolaíocht

Torthaí

Conclúid

Moltaí

You might need to check the spelling. I haven't got a dictionary to hand at the moment.

Achoimre is really summary.

Focal.ie gives coimriú for abstract in the sense you need. And is a good source for any other terms you might need.

Good luck with the Thesis.

Modheolaíocht, without the length accent over the first o (since you write "modh").

Learn Irish pronunciation here: http://loig.cheveau.ifrance.com/irish/irishsounds/irishsounds.html & http://fsii.gaeilge.org/

Why not "method" instead of "methodology" and "modh" instead of "modheolaíocht"?

[Féach! Níl tointe á chaitheamh ag an Rí.]

Tá brí ar leith ag Modheolaíocht seachas Modh, sílim.

Cuir chuige teoiriciúil is ea Modheolaíocht. Cuireann tú i bhfeidhm é i Modh áirithe. Ag brath ar cad tá scríofa sa tráchtas bheadh nath thar a chéile feiliúnach.
