I'd like to know how you'd translate this passage from An Braon Broghach, page 49, in the bottom: "D'imigh faocha den charraig mar bheadh sé ina 'bhuailim ort, tigim leat' aici féin agus ag an scaird fharraige ..." thanks in advance |

My guess is that "Buailim ort, tigim leat" is a phrase from a childrens chasing game. A periwinkle went from the rock as though it were a "I hit you, I go with you" with herself and the swoop of the sea. Awkward translation, I'm afraid. |
