I'm familiar with 'gabh i leith' as it is so common in Conamara but one I wasn't aware of was 'tar i leith'.. I was googling 'gabh i leith' out of interest and tar i leith came up as well so that's where I came across it. Haven't noticed it in speech but that is not to say it's not used all the time!! Does anyone know at all if 'tar i leith' is used that much at all?

thanks but that's where I came across the term originally.

Gabh i leith is usually used for 'c'mon' or 'c'mere' from what I have heard, so I'm still wondering about how often tar i leith is used.
