The site has been redesigned with a social community layout, new groups and much more for learners, teachers and anyone with an interest in Irish. A new chat feature is also on its way. Teachers can now sign up for free and submit web links & articles to the site for the benefit of others. There is a links directory with over 178 Irish Language sites saved for quick searching. Help to develop GaelNet and contribute knowledge on grammar or teaching resources / podcasts for the benefits of teachers and students.

Conchubhar, a chara,
I am currently working on a few exciting developments at the moment. Twitter is something that I enjoy using and that has many benefits. I will be looking into a way of incorporating Twitter into the site where possible and maybe adding a module or component onto the Interactive Toolbar. I am also planning to add a new chat component to the site so that anyone who is logged in can chat to all other members any time they like to practice Irish or chat about anything really. Members from Daltaí are more than welcome to signup. If you are a teacher in particular and would like to submit some grammar articles / podcasts etc for the benefit of students and teachers alike please sign up and help to contribute.

There are many more new features on the way.

Beir bua,

Eamonn.
