I'm usually a decade or two behind on all things digital and technical so if this has already been noted, I apologize.

However, in browsing Facebook I noticed that one of the languages they support is Gaeilge. Thought that was a good step in the right direction.

If anyone is using that application, I'd be interested in what you think of it.

Is it grammatically accurate/correct?

Does it focus on C.O. or any specific dialect?

A bunch of us started translating FB about a year ago, and anyone on the translation team has had Irish available as a "Beta" language for quite a while.

C.O. for the most part.

they would collect four or six possible translations of each term/phrase/etc and then have a period where people could discuss the various choices and vote on what they felt was best.

Not a perfect solution, but better than one guy of who knows what level doing it all...
