Le tuairim deich blian anuas, tá stíl nua ceoil tradisiúnta tagtha chun tosaigh i do chontae fhéin, a Shéamais. Stíl tapaidh agus bríomhar é agus cloistear an giotár go minic. Cuardaigh "Steve Cooney" i You Tube - ní Rory Gallagher é ach b'fhiú é a chuid cheoil a cloisint.

Should Irish music be in a traditional Irish style rather than pop/rock to qualify as Irish music?

Whenever you say the words irish music, the traditional irish music style comes to mind.

Braitheann sé an Ceol Éireannach nó Ceol Gaelach nó Ceol Gaeilge atá i gceist. Sin an deacracht leis an mBéarla, nach bhfuil idirdhealú ann ar na hIrishes éagsúla sin!
