How would you reply to '...ab ea?'.

Also what kind of construction would the statement be that leads up to 'ab ea'. I can only think of the present tense but not the past tense.

Is dóigh liom gur féidir an dá rud a bheith ann. Bhí freagra na ceist fíor inné (arbh ea) ach tá sé fós fíor inniu (ab ea/an ea).
