Hi

I am new to this forum and have been following it for a few weeks and think its a great forum that provides a lot of help.

Its 15 years since I done GCSE Irish in school (equivalent of leaving cert) and I have decided its time to go back to night classes and do it again with a view to carrying on my studies further afterwards. This is prompted by the fact my eldest son is just starting his first year in Colaiste Feirste which is an Irish Language secondary school and also my daughter is starting her first year in Primary school also being taught in Irish (and I have another staring the Naiscoil next September 2010).

I found it difficult to help my eldest with homework and want to be able to help my daughter when the time comes with schoolwork. I also enjoy visiting the Gaeltacht area in Ireland and would like to be able to hold a conversation in the shops.

My classes don't start for another 7 weeks so I thought I would start early with some verb revision. I remember when I was at school, the teacher would write verbs on the blackboard and we would copy them into our verb book and was wanting to recreate something like this. On trying to research to find web pages with full verb listings i drew a blank but came across the book 'Leabhar Mór Bhriathra na Gaeilge - The Great Irish Verb Book' at this site http://www.benmadiganpress.com/english/book_lm.html and was wandering if anyone had it or could comment on whether it was a good book? Its quite expensive and I don't want to spend £31 if it isn't a good book!

Go raibh maith agat
Damian
