Has anyone tried to post something to this forum with an HTML table in it? I'd tried one with standard code (using pointed brackets instead of square ones, of course).

[tr]
[td]a haone[/td]
[td]one[/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td]a do[/td]
[td]two[/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

The table itself came out fine, but for some reason, it located itself at the bottom of a very large post window, with a HUGE amount of blank space above it. Space I couldn't get rid of.

Anybody encountered this before?

I've never tried to use tables here, but I had the identical problem on a different site and solved it by removing all spaces between the HTML tags, i.e. "[table][tr][td]a haon[/td][td]one[/td][/tr][tr][td]a do[/td][td]two[/td][/tr][/table]". Tabhair iarracht air.

You can't use html.
You need to use the forum markup
\ table {
separate columns with a comma
new line starts a row

seo	sampla
measartha	simplí

Was fooled by the option enabling HTML.
