I'm studying the T.E.G materials but even the beginner's istructions are in Irish. Can somene give me a jumpstart translation? Here are instructions for an exercise: Éist leis an mbeannacht/leis an gceist agus cuir tic leis an bhfreagra cuí: Thanks Kevin |

Éist le[is]= listen to ...an mbeannacht = the greeting (I assume it's not blessing in this case) ...an gceist... = the question ...agus cuir tic le[is]... = and tick off ...an bhfreagra cuí = the appropriate answer. Ádh mór ort! Tine, siúil liom!

I think the TEG materials you're looking at are only in Irish because they're intended for teachers to use as materials in class, not for self-directed learners. Don't let that put you off, though :-) Mo bhlag sa seanchló Gaelach: www.cainteoir.com
