'An-scaoilte', at the last count, meant 'very loose' so when someone writes 'leide an-scaoilte' they mean 'a very loose hint'. I doubt if you really need to be so warned, in two languages, and I also doubt that I have ruined the rest of your life by leaving you so open to horrendous pitfalls that may come your way in Irish grammar, but lest you be as delicately balanced in life as some may presume, it may be no harm to bestow once more the following link for your perusal:
