Apple = Uball (mod. Ubhall) Gorse = Aittenn (mod. Aiteann) Blackthorn = Draigen/Droigen (mod. Draighean) Straiph (also Straif or Straith) = Sloe bush and the Ogham letter "sd" or "st". Ngetal (also Ngiatal or Ngútal) = Reed or rush and the Ogham letter "ng". Queirt (also Ceirt) = Apple tree and the Ogham letter "q".
