A chairde,

I wonder if anyone here might know anything about a soon-to-be-released course called Spoken World: Irish (http://tinyurl.com/cp5kl2) in the U.S. or Irish Gaelic: Beginner's Course (http://tinyurl.com/cqhayj) in the U.K. I usually hear about upcoming course publications months in advance, but I've heard naught of this one.

It seems it'll be released later this month in the states, and a month later in Europe. It features a 304 page book and six audio CDs. The publisher, Living Language, is an imprint of Random House.

Anyone here know anything further about this course?

Is dócha gur thug duine éigin san teach fánach an meancóg faoi ndeara. Níl tada cloiste agamsa faoi ach chomh beag, a Chionaodh.

Tá cuma "bhreacáin" ar na sciortaí sine. Síleam go mbíonn maisiúcháin eile ar sciortaí na ndamhsóir Gaelach...

Tá cuma Albanach ar na cótaí san íomhá chomh maith. Timpiste, dar liom, agus é athraithe acu ó shin.

Is minic nach iad na húdair a roghnas na pioctúracha a chuirtear ar chlúdach a leabhaire... Más é an foilsitheoir a roghnaigh é sin agus nach bhfuil eolas aige ar chultúr na hÉireann (má shíleann sé, mar shompla, gurb ionann na pobail Cheilteacha uilig...)...
