Hi

I am having a few problems with the passage below. I can translate it word for word but it doesn't make sense then. I think this is what it means but I would appreciate your assistance. Go raibh maith agaibh!

"Cé gur mhaith le gach duine, gan aon amhras, go bhfaigheadh dreamanna atá gníomhach i measc an phobail-leithéidí Phort Láirge le Gaelainn agus Glór Bhréifne- tacaíocht dá gcuid scéimeanna fíuntacha scéimeanna a bhfuil oiread díograise caite leo, tá seans maith go dtiocfar ar mhodhanna maoinithe dóibh amach anseo"

"Even though everyone would like, without doubt that all interested parites would be busy among people? like Waterford Gaelainn- support has to be given to worthwhile schemes. There is a good chance that a financing plan would...

go bhfaigheadh dreamanna atá gníomhach i measc an phobail

= that groups (of people) who are active in the community
would get ---

[go bhfaigheadh siad] tacaíocht dá gcuid scéimeanna fíuntacha = support for their worthwhile schemes

--leithéidí Phort Láirge le Gaelainn agus Glór Bhréifne--
= such as "Port Láirge le Gaelainn" and "Glór Bhreifne" (i.e two such groups)

scéimeanna a bhfuil oiread díograise caite leo = schemes which have had so much enthusiasm expended on them

tá seans maith go dtiocfar ar mhodhanna maoinithe dóibh amach anseo = There is a good chance that methods of funding for them will be found (sometime) in the future

Hope this helps.

Even though everyone would like, without any doubt, that groups who are active amongst the public - like PL le G and GB - would receive support for their worthwhile schemes, schemes which a lot of dedication has been invested in, there is a good chance that methods of funding will be found for them in future.

Sorry I have come across some other sentences which I can't make sense of and I would really appreciate assistance. Go raibh maith agat

1. "D'fhéadfaí a rá mar shampla maidir leis an cláracha simplithe gur tríothu a mhéadaítear ar an tsimplíocht[ foghraíochta, deilbheolaíochta, comhréire, agus brí]agus freisin ar an minicíocht- trí mheán athrá"

2. "Ní miste a lua anseo maidir le fonnadhaint i leith teanga go mbíonn an tionchar go deo ag a dtuismitheoirí agus a lucht comhaoise ar na foghlaimeoirí"

1. You would have to say that
2. No need to mention with reagd to motivation the influence that a parent has on the language.??

1. One could say, for example, regarding the simplified programmes that the simplfication is increased through them (phonetics, morphology, syntax, and meaning)and the frequency (is increased) as well - by the method of repeating.
2. It is no harm to say with regards to motivation concerning the language that parents and peers always have an influence on the learners.

(Quick unrefined translation, rough cuts!)
