...only tangentally related to Irish, but my language bar up and disappeared several weeks ago and I can't get it back. Thus, I can't switch into US-International mode to easily type fadas. Has this happened to anyone else, and how do I fix it? |

Silly question, but have you tried re-booting? Irish-English is what I use for fadas. |

Yes, I've rebooted several times - this has been going on for weeks. I literally have no language bar anymore. |

Assuming Windows, go to the control panel, choose Regional and Language options, languages tab, details button, make sure Irish-English is there (or whatever you want) and at the bottom there is another button for the language bar, where you can make it visible. Hopefully you can fix it - can't tell you why it went away...another user? Go n-éirí an t-ádh leat. |
