MASS IN THE IRISH LANGUAGE

ST. PATRICK’S DAY
TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2009 – 9:30 a.m.

ST. AGNES CHURCH
143 EAST 43RD STREET
(BETWEEN LEX AND THIRD)

CELEBRATED BY FR. AIDAN O’DRISCOLL
CO. CORK, IRELAND

The Annual Gaelic Mass at St. Agnes Church 143 East 43rd Street (between Lex. and 3rd Avenues) will be celebrated by Fr. Aidan O’ Driscoll of Co. Cork on St. Patrick’s Day at 9:30 AM. Fr. Richard Adams pastor of St. Agnes will deliver the homily in English.

The readings will be done in Irish by Mary Kelly, Maura Mulligan and Matthew Tully.

Maureen Sullivan will sing in Gaelic and Heather Bixler will accompany her on the violin.

Mr. Tom Downes will play the bagpipes in front of the church before and after the Mass.

This is the church in which Éamonn de Valera was baptized.
