when writing out a poem using the dot in place of the 'h' i get to the line "le hamharc..." and find myself uncertain about the first 'h'

bhfuil aon smaointe agaibh?
any thoughts?

No. It belongs there.

It is not true that Irish does not contain h, although it is true that there are few words which begin with it.

The ponc developed in a similar way to the umlaut - by being written over the letter it softened, to save parchment.

The monks had many similar tricks.

so, the root word is 'amharc' w/ the h thrown in when preceded by vowel endings like 'le' 7 'na'....ceart?
