1925, actually (1920 was a tough year in Ireland!). This one was published in collaboration with the Irish Press. Linguaphone released a longer course in Connacht Irish in 1928.

Both speakers on the 1925 records are natives of Cork (one being Ó Cuív himself).

Very nice of you to offer them, a Dhiarmuid -- I have a set already, but I'm sure someone here or in the Munster study groups (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TYIMunster & http://groups.yahoo.com/group/munster_irish) would love to buy them off you.

Bye the bye, there's also a set for sale just now on eBay.

Le meas,
Cionaodh

Dermot - I'm actually more interested in your family name!

What part of Ireland is your family from?

A Dhiarmuid,

Would you like me to post a message to the two groups I mentioned regarding those gramophone records of yours? There may well be someone on those lists eager to buy them but who perhaps doesn't happen to visit this forum.
