Hi just wondering if the answer to question 1 is grammatically correct or is there a better way of saying this. Go raibh maith agat

Question 1: Cén sort aimsire is fuath leat?
Answer :Is fuath liom an aimsir nuair atá sé ag cur sneacht mar tá sé ro-fhuar.
Question 2: Cén sort aimsire is fearr leat?
Answer: Is fearr liom an aimsire nuair atá an ghrian ag taitneamh mar is feidir liom dul amach ag imirt peile.

Cén sort eadaí a chaitheann tú nuair atá sé ag cur baistí.

Hi, Catherine.

First a couple of typos:

sort >> sórt
ag cur sneacht >> ag cur sneachta
ro-fhuar >> rófhuar

Now, something tells me that although what you have there is superficially gramatically correct, you probably should be using nuair a bhíonn (or nuair a bhíonns) instead of nuair atá because you hate it "whenever it snows", and mar bhíonn sé ró-fhuar because it "tends to be cold".

BUT this is not one of my strongpoints and we should wait and see if someone more knowledgable can either confirm or refute that.
