Finally there is a resource available for Irish Speakers which has a vast array of features. The free Irish Language toolbar is from a site called Gael Net (www.gaelnet.info) which provides free resources for Irish learners, students and anyone who loves the language.

Some of the vast features that the toolbar boasts are :RSS feeds to the major Irish sites like GaelPort, Blas, A live Radio which is fully customizable and has default stations which include Raidió na Gaeltachta, Raidió Rí-Rá, Live Blas Podcasts and new Vodcasts from New York , "Fís". These all play straight from the Toolbar so you have the latest news from all these sites without even having to type the addresses into a browser!! You could learn Irish for free straight from your toolbar as there are links to podcasts and sites which provide free resources.

GaelNet has a search facility built into the Toolbar so you can search the website and you can search Google in Irish all from your Toolbar. It has built in links to all the major sites like Focal, Lá, TG4 and many more.

For translators there is a built in menu which has the major translation sites saved so you can access them with a click of a button.

If you need help there is also a built in chat facility so you can talk to other toolbar users and share knowledge in real time like MSN chat.

There is a built in widget which lets you learn a word a day in irish.

These are just some of the features that the toolbar has and they are constantly updated. The website has even more to offer.

This is a resource that will be useful to any one learning Irish or even fluent speakers as there are so many areas that are covered.

If you are worried about Privacy don't be. The toolbar doesn't track your browsing. Check out the link and read more to see for yourself.
