I have copy of the book "Conlán" but I don't have enough Irish yet to determine that it is included. What would the title be as Gaeilge? Which collection did it come from as Béarla?

Dia dhuit murph!

I've got heaney's original in his "opened ground" collection, but I've only
rosenstock on tape...you can read heaney and hear GR here:

GR's translation is in "Conlán" yet I'm not certain on the complete title...
I think it's " biotáille AIRNE" ....quite certain on the 'airne/í,' not so
on the 'biotáille'...

Good luck, hope to hear from you soon

GRMA as do chuidiúsa!

Biotáille Airní

Aimsir ghlé aitil

dhorchaigh ina gheimhreadh.

Choinnigh sí biotáille le hairní

is shéalaigh an coimeádan gloine.

Nuair a d'oscaíos é

bholaíos ciúine shearbh

shuaite na sceiche á craobhscaoileadh

ar fud na pantraí.

Agus mé á dhoirteadh

bhí gearradh géar ann,

ag luisniú

mar Bhetelgeuse.

Ólaim do shláite

in airní galbhreachta gormdhubha

snasta, goirt

agus iontaofa.

Seo dhuit.
