Here we have the issue of 'Déanta i(n) X' which was objected to previously on the grounds that the verbal adjective codes for state, rather than action (which I would agree with and makes sense).

While it is a handy construction, it is a bit of a griffin, all things told

There is t-shirts with ''Déanta in Éirinn'' a Bhirn:
http://www.spailpin.com/English/madeinirelanddantainirinntshirt.php?UID=75107347

But that still dosen't prove that its correct as there can be bad Irish anywhere, but ''Déanta i ____'' is correct!

On Irish passport forms you have to tick a box to say where you were born. One of the options is:

Rugadh in Éirinn

as opposed to:

Breithe in Éirinn

Bheadh Breithe in Éirinn mí cheart!

I was born - rugadh mé

ach:

Áit breithe - Éireann

Rugadh in Éirinn is correct, Breithe would indicate a statement.

The reason I brought it up is that you could have:

Rinneadh in Éirinn

instead of:

Déanta in Éirinn
