Dia dhaoibh!

I'm stuck on a grammar point for a translation I have to do... It's to do with a double genitive of sorts... The sentence in English is :

"the annual celebration of Irish language and culture"

I've ended up with:

"ceiliúradh bliantúil theanga agus chultúr na Gaeilge"

Is this correct? I'm confused with it since in my mind it would be two genitives so you would end up saying:

A yearly celebration OF the language and culture OF Irish...

any help appreciated!

Gabh mo leithscéal... agus ceann eile...

the sentence in English is:

"Highlights so far have included..."

I have written:

"Tá ar áireamh sna buaiceanna seo..."

Is the use of ar áireamh correct for includes? or is this an awkward way to translate the sentence...?

Thanks!

cultúr na Gaeilge? (= the culture of the Irish language)
(Gaeilge is a noun meaning "Irish language".
The adjective "Irish" is Éireannach or Gaelach.

B'fhearr:
cultúr Éireannach/Gaelach = Irish culture
an cultúr Éireannach/Gaelach = the Irish culture

Déarfainnse b'fhéidir mar sin:
ceiliúradh bliantúil na Gaeilge agus an chultúir Éireannaigh.
nó:
ceiliúradh bliantúil na teanga agus an chultúir Éireannaigh.

(nó ... Ghaelaigh)

Is féidir an focal deireanach a athrú ó "Gaeilge" go "nGael", et voilà:

ceiliúradh bliantúil theanga agus chultúr na nGael

"An seanchas gearr,
an seanchas is fearr."

Cá mbeidh an ceiliúradh seo?

"An seanchas gearr,
an seanchas is fearr."
