The "á" here really comes from "do + a", where "a" is the possessive pronoun. So lenition and eclipsis follow the usual rules: lenition for his, h-prefix for hers and eclipsis for theirs.
Notice that "leabhair" is plural, but "seodra" is a collective singular (and masculine), and there's the explanation.
