An ancient member of our family would, upon entering a house say: "God bless all in this house." I recall hearing a similar phrase in some play, Synge, perhaps that reminded me of it. Translating it, I encountered a number of questions. I like the sound of "go mbeannaí Dia uile sa teach," but there are so many ways to say all or everyone that I'm wondering whether my way conforms with the popular idiom. Also, is this phrase one that calls for the dative tigh instead of teach? "i dtigh?"
