Tá an Roinn Gnóthaí Pobail Tuaithe agus Gaeltachta ag reáchtáil sraith cruinnithe poiblí chun deis a thabhairt do dhaoine díospóireacht a dhéanamh ar phlé pháipéar maidir leis an Straitéis 20 Bliain don Ghaeilge. D’eascair an plé pháipéar seo as an chéad chéim den chomhairliúcháin phoiblí a bhí ar siúl níos túisce i mbliana.

Dea-scéala eile leat, bail ó Dhia ort a Aonghuis. Chuala mé ó fhear a chuala ó fhear, a mh'anam, an rud céanna.

Beidh an siar is aniar ann. Beidh roinnt daoine agus roinnt eagras taobh istigh den státchóras a bheas in éadan an dul chun cinn i gcónaí, mar atá lasmuigh den státchóras, sa nGaeltacht agus san nGalltacht trí chéile. Braithim go dtuigeann níos mó daoine gur mar san a bheidh an scéal agus caithfimid brú ar aghaidh ar neamhchead do pháirtí, d'eagras, d'éinne. An méid den státchóras atá linn, táid ag léiriú go bhfuilid chun choinneáil ar aghaidh leis an iarracht. Is í an mhaith dhéanach an mhaith i gcónaí.

Go raibh maith 'ad a Aonghuis! I was hoping to see something like this, so it's nice to see details of the responses they received online and at the public meetings.

They seem to be raising all the right questions so I look forward to Phase II of the process. It would have been better if this had occured decades ago, but this is a great development.

Has anyone on the forum attended one of the public meetings?

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess not; the schedule is on that link Aonghus gave.

Tá fáilte roimh chuile cheartú!

Those are for Phase II. There were five meetings earlier listed in the PDF.

I didn't make it to the Phase I meeting, a friend did.

Depending on the schedule, I'll try to get to a phase II meeting. But I'm not a great fan of meetings!
