Is there a link in existence to the BS dialogue transcripts?

Buntús Cainte is still in print. If anyone is posting "transcripts" (i.e. the contents of the books) online, they'd run afoul of copyright law.

Could they sleep at night for what might happen to them if someone noticed, I wonder?

Before I get tagged with being rude, I'm just saying I doubt much opprobrium would fall on the offenders head, that's all

If the Irish language community made a widespread habit of copying/sharing pages from books that are still in print, we'd soon find fewer published, as authors & publishers would be unable to earn their quid on the sales.

If you're short of cash, search for the book you want at http://www.abebooks.com -- many bargains to be had there on second-hand books. The author/publisher have already been paid for those, so no guilt on you if you find a cheap copy there.

Sna seachtóidí????

Actually I have them in front of me; rather I wanted the conversations only. There is a module in my masters on discourse analysis that I may do, for which I wondered if the simple set pieces in BC could be used as there is a style and context to them.

Since I'm out in Korea, in the advent of losing them, back up scripts would be handy. Suppose, I'll just have to photocopy them all.

As for spending money, I've done my duty on that count, spending more than the average I'd imagine

Blast from the past.

Here's a snippet of the black-and-white television programme "Buntús Cainte" from circa 1967:
