I want very much to learn to say the Rosary and the Our Father in Gaelic. What is the best way for me to begin?
I want to be able to speak the language that I find so beautiful but I really want to learn these two prayers quickly. Can anyone tell me how to say these two prayers first and then I can begin to learn my language?

Go raibh maith agat!

Comhaid fuaime leis an nasc so nach bhfuil thar moladh beirte a Lynne.

There are sound files and words with this, but a word of warning. You can listen to them but don't follow suit as you shall have to make serious corrections further down the line. Just use them as a general guide.

Go raibh maith agat!

This is such a difficult yet beautiful language. I have ordered the Rosetta Stone as it has come out with lessons in Gaelic. I have to believe that it is possible for me to learn to speak Irish. It is my hearts desire. I appreciate having the prayers.

It IS possible and most probable as long as you say and take into your own mind that some day you shall have it satisfactorily. Then you just keep plugging at it. It's not all hard slog, remember, so knock a bit of fun out of it as well (because if you don't, something is not right)!

Go n-éirí sin leat.
