"Bhoil" and "bhuel" seem to be Irishized spellings of the English "well."
Are there any equivalent interjections that are indigenous to Irish? |

Úsáid "mar sin" in ionad an focail Bhéarla "so".
I lost my ticket so I can't go.
Chailleas mo thicéad mar sin ní féidir liom dul.
I also write "well" as "bhfuel" to make it a litte more cryptic ;) |

You often hear older speakers use 'tá' in much the same way as 'well' is used at the start of a sentence, to give them time to think exactly what they want to say. It's used regardless of tense:
'Cén cineál duine a bhí i bPádraig Mór?'
'Tá....duine deas múinte, muise.' |
