G'day,
Just wondering if anybody could help with a translation into scots gaelic for me or point me in the direction of somewhere i could possibly get some help. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.
The quote is a scottish saying that is intented for a a birthday inscription for a close friend.
the quoute is " Good friends and good whiskey will make many a cold night warm. Happy birthday Niall".
Once again thank you in advance and any help is greatly appreciated.

Well I only know Irish but I'd might say something like:
Cairde maithe agus fuisce maith a chuirfidh teas ar oíche fhuar

My Scots Gaelic is rusty, but that sounds right.

Thanks very much guys! I new that asking for a word perfect socts translation on an Irish site might be pushing it but you guys have out done yourselves! Are there any sites such as this dedicated to scots you guys know of?
