I was wondering about the word 'Cumarsáid' - 'communication'. I haven't found it in any old dictionaries. Is it a new word?

Also, am I right in assuming that 'Geilleagar' (economy) is made up of 'geall' + 'eagar'?

Go raibh maith agaibh.

Tháinig "cumarsáid" isteach sa teanga tamall ó shin ón bhfocal Béarla "conversation", de réir dealraimh.

Sin agat é. Go raibh maith agat as na ceisteanna seo a chur. Bhí orm beagán taighde a dhéanamh. Is breá liom sanasaíocht.
