Hello,
Is misha Robert, agas ta me folum galic. (I know that isn't spelled correctly, but being blind, I have to spell the Irish words as they sound as i am learning Irish completely by speaking with others, and by listening to the Irish on your own tapes.
I am in the prosess of converting the tapes to MP3 files to keep them on CD. This is where the problem has come in. It seams that tape 2 has snapped and I am missing lessons 10 through 15. if anyone has the tape 2 converted I would be very grateful if they could or would help me to have those lessons to complete the course. i have the other tapes, and will convert them all so that this wonderful course isn't lost to time.
If the lessons can be emailed, or if a CD can be posted to me. I can prove that I own the course as I can scan the tapes and book, or something to show there is no copyright issues involved...
I can be reached at
(I am an American Irish singer), and that is my under construction web sight. I currently have a Cd completed of pub songs mostly learned from my Late Grandmother. That is where i also get my... mixed accent of American Irish as I grew up with her.
It is strange that here in the States, I sound irish, and over there I sound like a yank... Oh well.
Anyway, if you can help, Go raibh maith agat.
Although I was told my Irish was good by an old man in Letter Kenny (how ever it's spelled).
Thanks again for your help,
Slan go foil, Roibeard (I think that is spelled correctly.) P.s. I will be in Ireland this fall on a mission to practice so i will maybe be in the Northern Islands or up in the Galtalk to put my Irish to good use. It worked well the last time i was there.
