"What spoke the attendant(s) with you?"

I thought "an freastalaí" is singualar "the attendant", but "na freastalaithe" plural "the attendants". But what is the mixture of both?

quote:

"What spoke the attendant(s) with you?"

Tá na focail agat. Ach ciallaíonn sé "What did the server (waiter) say to you?" Le "an" in áit "na", ar ndóigh. Botún cló?

abair le = say to

"An seanchas gearr,
an seanchas is fearr."
