So, in the car on the way home it struck me that this is way wrong, isn't it (from the other thread): B'fheidir go bhfuil an cúrsa seo an mhíorúilt go lorgaí mé! First off this would need the copula, wouldn't it. And "go lorgaí" is wrong because I wouldn't need a subjunctive but rather something like... cé lorgaím? Would somebody correct this for me?! This will bug me. I'm trying to say "Maybe this course is the miracle I seek". grmh! |

Maybe: B’fhéidir gurb é an cúrsa seo an mhíorúilt atá á lorg agam / atá mé a lorg. (gurbh > past & conditional) Learn Irish pronunciation here: www.phouka.com/gaelic/sounds/sounds.htm & http://fsii.gaeilge.org/
