If someone does give you a translation for this you must be forewarned that it won't be all rhyming and ringing since it was probably originally written in English and thus a translation won't fit within the confines of the metor. If noone helps you here you ought to go to irishgaelictranslator.com where I suspect you might get more attention for this kind of translation request.

It's not a literal translation, but it's close. It says

May God give you a happy and long life,
For he understands life's twists:
There's a lack of angels on earth,
And heaven is overflowing.

But I hope it sounds a little better than that in Irish.
