The legal team of Holland and Knight announced this morning - Feb. 19, 2008 , that New York State's Court of Appeals in Albany has agreed to hear the appeal motion set before the court based on the dissent of Judge Kavanaugh.

The date of the appeal hearing has yet to be announced but this news brings hope to all who wish to see this historic church built in 1848 preserved and restored.

St. Brigid's is located on the lower east side of Manhattan at 7th St. and Ave. B. across from Tompkins Square Park.

Thank you to all who have lent their support.

Please refer to: www.savestbrigid.com for more information and complete history of church and struggle to preserve.
