GAEILGE AGUS BRICFEASTA

Introductory Irish phrases for Beginners
and a Conversation Group for those with some Irish
Sponsored by the Irish American Assn of Northwest NJ
352 Richard Mine Road, Rockaway Township

Saturday, March 1st - 10:00 a.m.

Many of our ancestors did not come to this country speaking English – they spoke Irish. Many others had Irish at school in Ireland. Here is your chance to learn as a beginner, or to refresh what you learned in school in Ireland – you’d be surprised what comes back to you!

Join us for a taste of Irish with your breakfast on Saturday, March 1st. There is No Charge for this event. Even the breakfast is free! We just want to introduce (or re-introduce) the Irish Language to those living in the area.

The IAANJ will also be resuming its Irish language class schedule this spring with a Monday evening class taught by Matt Tully, from Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and a Saturday morning class by Seamus Mac Cába, from Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

For more information call Matt Tully: 862-266-3563 or Séamus Mac Cába: 732-722-8031

Start off the month of March with some Irish Conversation, for those of you that have an Ghaeilge or come learn some basic phrases, for those of you who don't.

I think its nice that you post these things, even though I'm nowhere near New York it is good to hear that these oppertunities exist for people. I thought I'd just mention this since you don't usually get responses about your events, probably only because most of the regular posters live elsewhere.

Go raibh maith agat, a Riona

Since this is the Daltaí website, I try to post events organized by those who attend the Daltaí weekends. We all work together in support an Ghaeilge, and we attend each other's events.

This is a Seachtain na Gaeilge Event - hopefully the snow won't delay it !!
