Having noticed that students tend to lack good aural memory, so cannot even repeat phrases they hear, I decided for myself to start recording RnaG and then shuffle the tracks and transcribe what I hear, with a random track so I dont get just memorize it into long term memory.

(It would be even better if you have the words done and the recording side by side, like maybe some books do have so you can see what the phrase really means, and get a feel for the semantics).

Also, you can break the phrases down into their important elements, mar shampla:

"Sé a streachailt a bhí er á daraingt leis a rabh ma a déanamh iontas da" or "she a strachailt ed aw darint lesh a raw'ma a jaynew untas de" however you personally transcribe and then render it to caighdeán:

"Is é an streachailt a bhí air á dtarraingt leis a rabh mé ag déanamh iontais de"

Then one can break into it's units:

iontas de
ag déanamh iontais
ag déanamh
(ag déanamh iontais de)

bhí mé, a rabh mé
tarraingt
á dtarraingt
á dtarraingt leis
(a rabh mé á dtarraingt leis)

bhí, a bhi
a bhí air
streachailt
(streachailt a bhí air)

Is é
is é streachailt
(Is é streachailt)

It's easier to start at the end for some reason. You can now go check the grammar (direct and indirect relative clauses, treatment of nouns after verbal noun, noun and prepositional pronoun and noun association etc) as well as meaning of nouns and verbs, and so gives some sort of context to what you are looking up.

(Is é streachailt) (a bhí air) (a rabh mé á dtarraingt leis) (ag déanamh iontais de)

Bail ó Dhia ar an obair a Bhrn.

Tá an-bhaint ag an léitheoireacht le foghlaim teanga nuair a bhíonn an duine fásta i gceist. Tá meas mór agam féin ar an léamh os ard agus a léamh ar do shocracht.

Go rabh maith agat, a Sheosaimh. B'fhearr liom a bheith i mo mhuinteoir le daoine fásta, ach táim ag fáil dúbáilte i gcompáráid leis na muinteoirí eile mar is cainteoir duchais mé, agus bíonn níos lú airgead sa tír seo le muineadh an Bhéarla do na daoine móra, ach ins na coláisteanna, a chreidim mé
