Hello.

I've been writing a story and incorporated some Irish words/expressions in it here and there. But I'm stumped on a sentence... I wanted to write "welcome to our family" in Irish. I know "welcome" is "fáilte", but I can't translate the rest as my Irish is very limited (I've only learned words so far, and ready made expressions, but no grammar and such that would allow me to make my own sentences...). I'm not sure if the context is needed but, in context, it's a sentence a father would say, welcoming his future son-in-law to the family, when he finds out his daughter and he are planning on getting married.

Arbh fhéidir "fáilte (isteach) inár dteaghlach" a rá freisin, nó an mbeadh blas mínádurtha air sin?

Braithim go bhfuil sé (níos) mínádurtha.
Níl mé ró thóghta leis an leagan a thug mise ach oiread, ach ní ritheann aon leagan dúchasach liom.
