Sorry to ask this question which has certainly already been asked a lot of times : could you help me with an Irish/English dictionary which would be written in Romanic letters . I've got the "Dinneen" one but it is in Cló Gaelach and it is too hard for me when I'm in search of a certain word or term. I'd like one in Cló Rhómhánach. Thanks a lot! |

Go raibh maith agat, A Lughaidh. But have you got any idea where I coud have such an edition . Did you find it in France or have you had to ask for it in Ireland?

"An seanchas gearr, an seanchas is fearr."

Dennis > bhí cionn ann, a rinn Risteard de Hae (nó ainm mar sin), sa chló Ghaelach srl, ach ní féidir a fháilt níos mó ach ins na leabharlannaí. Seachas sin, tá mise féin a’ déanamh foclóir póca Fraincise-Gaeilge agus Gaeilge-Fraincise le Ciarán Mac Guill. Níl ’s agam cá huair a bheas sé críochnaithe. Ní foclóir fíor a bheas ann, cha bhíonn mórán abairtí ann (mar gur foclóir beag baoideach é), ach beidh sin níos fearr ná a dheath :-) Learn Irish pronunciation here: www.phouka.com/gaelic/sounds/sounds.htm & http://fsii.gaeilge.org/
