It means: It belongs to an Irish citizen now. I wuda thought "saoránach Éireann" should be "saoránach d'Éirinn", coz that's what's written on my passport in anyway. -- Fáilte Roimh Cheartú -- Muna mbíonn téarma Gaoluinne agaibh ar rud éigin, bígí cruthaitheach! Ná téigí i muinín focail Bhéarla a úsáid, údar truaillithe é sin dod chuid cainte.

Would it be: "He is now an Irish citizen?" But who is an Irish citizen? Or are they talking about the building? |

The plaque basically goes through the history of the building by listing it's old owners and then at the end possibly in a slightly cheeky way states "An irish citizen now owns it" Maidir led cheist gramadaí FnaB is dóigh liomsa go bhfuil an dá rud ceart.. Saoránach d'Éirinn - a citizen of Ireland Saoránach Éireann - a citizen of Ireland... A people without a language of its own is only half a nation.A nation should guard its language more than its territories, 'tis a surer barrier and a more important frontier than mountain or river
