The Seanad Éireann election is underway at present. Dáithí Mac Cárthaigh, President of Conradh na Gaeilge, is standing on the NUI panel.

Ballot papers are sent by post to NUI graduates and must be returned by midday 24th July.

I would be delighted to support Daithai if I had a vote, but as I graduated from a third level institute other than Trinity or NUI, I am disenfranchised.
